This USB and FireWire slot saver PCI card can be installed in an available PCI slot to provide three external USB 2.0 ports, one internal USB port, two external 6-pin IEEE 1394a FireWire ports and one internal FireWire (6-pin, 1394a) port.
A cost-effective solution, the USB/FireWire slot saver PCI card lets you connect FireWire or USB peripherals (e.g CD-RW/DVD-ROMs, external hard drives, video cameras, etc.), while taking up only one PCI expansion slot on the computer, in turn saving space in the computer for further card installations.
Supporting full high-speed USB (up to 480Mbps) and FireWire 400 (400Mbps) data transfer speeds, the adapter card lets you get the most from your USB or FireWire peripherals, ensuring seamless functionality with internally or externally connected peripherals.
