This flush mount 1-Port eSATA ExpressCard adapter uses a unique "slim" form factor design that allows it to sit fully in a standard 34mm laptop ExpressCard slot, without sticking out. The adapter eSATA port sits flush with the sides of the laptop, creating a seamless add-on that can be left installed even while on the move, without fear that the card or slot will be damaged due to impact or snagging.
The flush mount eSATA ExpressCard lets you experience the high performance capability of eSATA storage with support for data transfer rates up to 3Gbps, as well as port multiplier capability with command-based switching for connecting multiple external hard drives to a host PC or Mac notebook through a single eSATA connection.
