This USB 2.0 External SATA Hard Drive Enclosure supports the latest generations of hard drive storage, and allows automated data/file backups at the touch of a button. The HDD enclosure connects to a host computer through USB 2.0 and supports 3.5in Serial ATA (SATA, SATA II, SATA III) hard drives, providing a cost-effective way to take advantage of the high capacity offered by the newest SATA hard drives.
The enclosure includes highly configurable software that lets you pre-define backup tasks - allowing for fast, automated backup and archiving of valuable data when the One Touch Backup feature is activated.
The External hard drive enclosure features a built-in 40mm fan that re-distributes the heat build-up generated as a result of typical drive operation. This feature is especially important for larger volume storage, and faster “spinning" drives (i.e 7200 RPM), as it can help keep drives running cooler, which can preserve data integrity and the drive's lifespan by reducing the chances of premature failures.
Constructed of durable but lightweight aluminum, this external storage solution is an ideal add-on for maintaining data integrity, mobilizing data, or convenient backup.
