Well suited for RAID 0, RAID 1, RAID 10 and JBOD applications, the SAT3550ESR includes a port multiplier supported PCI Express-based host controller card to create a single eSATA interface with the enclosure, accommodating large capacity drives for a total installed capacity of up to an impressive 5 Terabytes.

The SAT3550ESR includes Dual 80mm built in fans that re-distribute the heat build-up generated as a result of typical drive operation. This feature is especially important for larger volume storage (750GB, 1TB hard drives), and faster “spinning" drives (i.e 7200 RPM), as it can help optimize drive operability and in turn preserve stored data integrity.

The Enclosure can house a mix of 2.5" and 3.5" drives, with convenient front access using swing open door and slide-out drive trays. However, your data integrity is protected with a lockable front panel door, to ensure that installed drives are secure against intrusion, while LED indicators provide easy monitoring of drive status and operation.
