StarTech.com Launches USB Rocket Shoes
It is with immeasurable excitement that I announce the upcoming release of one of StarTech.com's finest, most original products - USB Rocket Shoes!
Although the project has come under a great deal of scrutiny from some of the world's most influential security agencies, we opted to keep the intended result under wraps until we had completed the necessary research and development. Finally, our work is nearing completion on this project, following roughly 11 years.
It's important to note that this project entailed nearly half of a billion dollars of funding from privately held investor groups, and a great deal of effort and teamwork from the company as a whole; sadly, no fewer than a dozen employees gave their lives (literally) to the testing and development of this product, which will (finally) become available in the coming weeks.
The StarTech.com USB Rocket Shoes (USBROCKET)offer 15lbs of initial upward thrust, and can supply users with speeds of up to 240km/h when fueled and used accordingly. Weighing less than 5lbs a piece, the Rocket Shoes can be charged via USB 2.0 connection to a host PC or Mac. Future models of USBROCKET will include a built-in, 5 port USB hub - so you will be able to take your peripherals with you wherever you go.
