Find the right converter, extender splitter, card or cable in 2 easy steps!

Close

Instructions:
The ConXit Connection Wizard is very simple to use once you understand the selection order:

Step One: In Step One, select the receiving device or peripheral (see examples below). At first, this might seem backwards, but by reversing the direction we narrow the possible connection options considerably, making it easier to find the solution you need. Imagine how many different connection possibilities there are if a computer connection was selected in Step One!

Step Two: After selecting the device connection in Step One, the ConXit Connection Wizard will populate Step Two with all of the supported connection types to the device. You can select your desired connection type in the Step Two drop down and hit the Find It button, OR just hit the Find It button to view all the StarTech.com products with supporting connections.

To help you verify the right connection a representative image of each of the connectors will be shown.

Examples:
You want to connect your LCD monitor with VGA In to your laptop using an available USB A port. In Step One, select "VGA"; from the resulting list for Step Two, select "USB A".
You want to use your Compact Flash Card as a solid state drive in your computer using an open SATA data port. Select "Compact Flash" in Step One, then choose "SATA" in Step Two.

Advanced Options:
The Advanced Options let you pre-filter search criteria. Please note that you must choose these options before making your selection in Step One.
Select Use more advanced terms to select from more detailed connector descriptions.
Choose a category from the Show Only dropdown list to narrow your search criteria as needed.

TIP: Remember, if you don't get the expected results or the corresponding connector type appears to be missing in Step Two, you may have reversed the connections!
