| The ATA 133 card is designed to rely on an enhanced version of the IDE interface for data transfers at rates of up up to 133 MBytes/sec. Although these cards are designed to perform with high-speed IDE/133 drives, some of today’s ATA 133 cards support 100 MBytes/sec, 66 MBytes/sec, and 33 MBytes/sec hard drives, CD-ROMS, CD-RW drives, and other ATA peripherals.
