USB2VGA & USB2VGA2 Replacement

JUNE 15, 2012

More than five years ago, we introduced our first USB video adapter - the USB2VGA USB VGA adapter, which offered IT professionals a new way to add a monitor or multiple monitors to any PC desktop or laptop computer. The USB2VGA led to many subsequent products in our USB Video Adapters product line, which continues to evolve, with several new products launched in the last year including USB 3.0-based video adapters such as the USB32HDE USB 3.0 to HDMI adapter, which we launched in mid-November 2011.

The time has come to phase out USB2VGA and USB2VGA2 USB VGA adapters, as we transition to newer, more economical adapters with faster performance. As part of this transition, the USB2VGA and USB2VGA2 adapters are being discontinued and replaced with our newest addition to the USB video adapters product line - the USB2VGAE3 USB VGA adapter, which offers a significant boost in overall performance as well as higher resolution capability.

I’m very excited about the future of our USB video adapters product line, as it will continue to evolve with further advancements in the IT world.
