Supporting the latest generation of hard drive storage up to Terabyte (1TB) SATA hard drives, it houses up to three 3.5” SATA (150)/SATA II (300) hard drives. This innovative hot swap bay requires only two 5.25” bays, maximizing space-efficiency within the host computer. Unlike other enclosures, the HSB320SATBK doesn’t require that the drives be mounted to an internal tray – saving users the time it would normally take to mount the drives for deployment or unfasten for replacement.

The HSB320SATBK has two built-in 40mm fans that re-distribute the heat build-up generated as a result of typical drive operation. This feature is especially important for larger volume storage (750GB, 1TB hard drives), and faster “spinning" drives (i.e 7200 RPM), as it can help optimize drive operability and in turn preserve stored data integrity.
