This versatile drive enclosure offers a cost-effective way to turn any SATA II 3.5in hard drive (up to 1.5TB) or 5.25in optical drive (Blu-ray DVDRW, CD-ROM, CD-RW, DVD-ROM, DVD-RW), into an external solution.
The drive enclosure can be connected to a host computer through either USB 2.0 or eSATA, and supports the full capability of both interfaces (maximum data transfer capability up to 3 Gbps with eSATA, up to 480 Mbps through USB 2.0).
To help ensure dependable drive operation, the enclosure provides a sturdy yet attractive aluminum casing and a 40mm fan to help keep the installed hard drive or optical drive cool./p>
