This SATA Hard Drive Backplane features a built-in RAID controller that provides the perfect solution for building hot-swappable SATA RAID arrays with support for up to four 3.5” SATA/300 (SATA II), including 1.5 terabyte hard drives.
The SATA backplane features a rear-mounted 80mm cooling fan that helps to keep your drives running at optimal temperatures and includes two built-in alarms (fan failure and overheating) to alert you in case of failure.
With support for RAID 0, RAID 1 and RAID 5, the SATA backplane supports data transfer rates of up to 3 Gbps to provide maximum performance for enhanced storage applications.
Please note: The SATABAY4BK SATA Hard Drive Backplane is interchangeable with StorCase models S21J117, SC21J117 and model RJR400.
