This SATA Hard Drive Backplane provides simple, hot-swappable storage with support for up to five 3.5in SATA (SATA I/SATA II) hard drives, including drives up to 1.5 terabytes in capacity.
The SATA backplane can be mounted into a 4U server/4U rack case, helping to increase internal space efficiency; to help keep installed drives running at optimal temperatures, the SATA backplane features a rear-mounted 80mm cooling fan and built-in alarms (fan failure and overheating) to alert you in case of failure or overheating.
The RAID compatible SATA backplane delivers data transfer rates of up to 3 Gbps to provide maximum performance for enhanced storage applications.
