StarTech.com’s SNT127A removable hard drive drawer allows IDE hard drives to be quickly inserted or removed from any PC with an available 5.25 inch drive bay without opening the computer. It is an ideal solution for high-speed back-ups of critical files, moving large files from one computer to another, and for running multiple operating systems on the same PC.
The unit consists of two pieces: a bay that mounts into the PC, and a removable drawer that encases the hard drive. It also supports Ultra ATA/66, ATA/100, and ATA/133 IDE transfer rates of up to 133 MB/s.
