IDE Card

IDE (Integrated Drive Electronics) is a standard electronic interface used between the computers disk storage device and the computer motherboard’s data paths (bus). The IDE interface is the official AT attachment (ATA) specification; IDE drives and ATA drives are identical. The controller electronics in the IDE drive are built-in so all that is needed for proper IDE card function is a simple circuit in the PC for connection.
