Copper Fiber Converter

A copper fiber converter is a device that bridges the gap between copper cabling and fiber optic cable. The device has input and output plugs, the input being copper cable and the output being fiber optic cable. The copper fiber converter reads the signal given by the copper cable, and then converts the signal into a fiber optic signal that can be transmitted from the converter through fiber optic cables. This device is used mainly to extend the life of an existing network, extend the signal of an existing network to greater lengths, and increase the life of non-fiber based equipment.
