CRT (Cathode Ray Tube)

A CRT or Cathode Ray Tube is a type of display used for televisions or computer monitors. The display works by heating electrons then shooting them at the respective pixel location resulting in a certain colour being displayed on the outside screen. Although CRT displays are now considered old technology they offer a reliable and cost effecting alternative to today’s flat panel displays.
