StarTech.com continues to expand Thunderbolt™ 3 docking station offering with an enhanced connectivity dock.
Lockbourne, OH - February 27, 2017 - StarTech.com has announced the release of a new Thunderbolt 3 Dual-4K Docking Station with SD Card Slot (SKU: TB3DOCK2DPPD & UK/EU SKU: TB3DOCK2DPPU) which provides 85W of USB Power Delivery. This is the newest docking station in StarTech.com’s comprehensive line of docking stations and provides enhanced connectivity for the user by supporting two 4K DisplayPort displays, providing an SD card slot and six USB 3.0 ports.
The supercharged new docking station comes equipped with a DisplayPort video output and USB-C™ to DisplayPort cable for connecting the Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) port to an additional DisplayPort display, enhancing the user’s productivity right out of the box. Users can also connect to more devices and peripherals with the dock’s five USB-A ports, one USB-C port, and card reader slot.

The dock allows MacBook Pro and Windows PC users direct access to the content on their SD or microSD™ Flash cards. The SD card slot could also be used for additional storage and backup through macOS X Time Machine or Windows File History.
