Video Scaler

A video scaler is an A/V device used to scale video formats or resolutions for compatibility between the signal source and the display being used. Most commonly, video scalers are used to correct the image distortion that results from a high resolution, non-interlaced HDTV display, being used in conjunction with interlaced video signal, such as those provided by composite or S-video.
