Micro ATX Case

Micro ATX is a standard form factor for small PC motherboards which have a maximum size of 244mm x 244mm. Micro ATX motherboards utilize some of the same standards as the regular ATX boards, which allows Micro ATX boards to use many of the same components as its predecessor, ATX. The Micro ATX case uses a Micro ATX motherboard allowing the case to be very discreet, which helps when the system will be situated under tight space limitations.

Because this form factor does not readily accomodate "normal" sized I/O cards, "Low Profile" cards must often be used instead.
