Expands Direct-Attach Cable Offering

New Direct-Attach Cables and Active Optical Cables from expands networking line.

Lockbourne, OH - January 11, 2018 - has announced the release of more than 50 new SFP+ / QSFP+ direct-attach and active optical cables. The new product portfolio contains MSA compliant products that are compatible with Cisco®, HP® and Juniper® networking equipment. In addition, QSFP+ to 4 x SFP+ break-out cables of different lengths are also now available.

The direct-attach cable (DAC) portfolio enables IT professionals to maintain performance and reliability in server rooms and data centers, by offering an extensive range of lengths for connections within or between server racks. The new portfolio includes QSFP+ / SFP+ cables which are fully compatible with major OEM brands.

The new cable offering caters to the needs of small to medium-sized businesses, financial institutions and organizations that maintain their own server rooms and data centers. Users will also find the cost savings of the direct-attach cables beneficial, when deploying and managing their data-center solutions.

The new transceivers and direct-attach cables are fully compliant with MSA standards, giving users confidence that the products manufactured by are identical in form factor and functionality to the equivalent Cisco, HP and Juniper products.
