This PCI Express SATA Controller Card allows you to turn a PCI Express (1x) slot into one internal SATA and one external SATA (eSATA) connection. Supporting SATA 300 (SATA II) hard drives and data transfer rates of up to 3Gbps, this controller card is the perfect solution if you need an extra SATA port or want to externalize your storage.
The controller card is designed based on a native PCI Express single chipset that provides enhanced compatibility, reliability and performance for your external storage needs. Plus, PEXESATA2I features Port Multiplier support with command based switching for connecting multiple external hard drives to host PC or Mac Desktop through one eSATA connection.
