This PCI Express based Powered USB Adapter Card adds three Powered USB (USB PlusPower) ports to any computer, through an available PCI Express Slot, and features a low profile design that is ideal for installations in a small form factor computer case.
Drawing power from either the PCI Express slot or the computer power supply, the Powered USB adapter card provides up to 3A of current to each connected device, allowing for up to three Powered USB devices to be installed at a time.
Plus, this PCI Powered USB Adapter Card can be connected to StarTech.com's 2 Port 12V/24V Powered USB Adapter Card (PUSBADAP), to create two additional Powered USB ports, without using an extra PCI Express slot.
