StarTech.com's InfoSafe UNI3510U2EB eSATA/USB to SATA/IDE External Hard Drive Enclosure delivers a versatile and cost-effective external storage solution, letting you turn any 3.5" Serial ATA (SATA, SATA II, SATA III) or IDE hard drive into an eSATA (SATA only) or USB 2.0 (SATA or IDE) connected external storage solution for high capacity drives (tested with up to 4TB). The External hard drive enclosure features a large built-in 80mm fan that provides enhanced re-distribution of heat build-up generated as a result of typical drive operation. This feature is especially important for larger capacity hard drives, and faster “spinning" drives (i.e 7200 RPM), as it can help keep drives running cooler, which can preserve data integrity and the drive's lifespan by reducing the chances of premature failures.
Its unique snap-in, screwless hard drive installation and "One Touch Backup", which automates backup tasks for simple backups of files and folders at the touch of a button, based on pre-defined settings within the easy to use software utility (included), are design features which provide a convenient and efficient operating experience .
The hard drive enclosure features an attractive black aluminum casing that looks great in any operating environment, and is backed by our 2-year warranty and free lifetime technical support.
