Product ID: POEINJ1GI
The POEINJ1GI Industrial Gigabit PoE+ Injector provides power and data connectivity to a Gigabit PoE-compliant device over standard Ethernet cabling at distances of up to 330ft (100m), and offers redundant, wide-range DC power inputs. This injector allows you to easily connect a PoE-powered device (PD) to a non-PoE LAN switch, avoiding the cost of upgrading your switch to a PoE-enabled model.
Providing seamless power failover in the event of power dips or failures, the injector features redundant 20-57V DC (nominal 24/48V DC) terminal block power inputs. The internal DC-DC converter provides the PoE injector with high voltage output from a low voltage input (<24V DC). When used with multiple power sources, the injector also supports alarm relay contacts, which can be wired to your existing alarm circuit to give you instant notice when a power disruption occurs.
Fully compliant with IEEE 802.3at / 802.3af, the injector provides a 10/100/1000Mbps port with support for up to 30 Watt max output, and up to 60 Watts output for non-standard PoE devices.
To ensure dependable performance in harsh environments this power over Ethernet injector features a rugged, IP-30 case design with flexible DIN rail or wall-mountable installation options.
Backed by a 2-year StarTech.com warranty and free lifetime technical support.

Live Chat (opens in new window)If an extra power source is not connected to either the PWR1 or PWR2 terminal blocks on the POEINJ1G1, the fault LED lights up, regardless of whether or not the unit is working properly. The fault LED is lit up because the POEINJ1GI does not detect a redundant power source. To avoid the fault LED being lit up, connect a power source to both PWR1 and PWR2.
