De ST3300U3S USB 3.0 gigabit netwerkadapter verandert één SuperSpeed USB 3.0 hostverbindingspoort in een RJ45 gigabit netwerkpoort en drie extra USB 3.0 poorten.
In tegenstelling tot een adapter op USB 2.0 basis kunt u met deze NIC op USB 3.0 basis verbinding maken met uw thuis- of kantoornetwerk met volle gigabit bandbreedte, met ondersteuning voor 10/100/1000 Mbps. Bovendien, met ondersteuning van functies zoals Jumbo Frames, VLAN tagging en Wake on LAN (WOL), biedt deze veelzijdige netwerkadapter een uitgebreide gigabit netwerkoplossing.
Naast de gigabit Ethernet-aansluiting voegt de adapter drie USB 3.0 hubpoorten toe aan uw systeem, waardoor u externe opslagmedia of andere USB-randapparaten lokaal op de hostcomputer kunt aansluiten. If you are experiencing speed or connectivity issues, it is best to set a specific speed at half or full duplex in your settings. You can set your network adapter to perform at a certain speed, but the device that the adapter is connected to (whether it is a router, switch, or computer) must also be able to perform at the same speed.

If the USB device does not work after your computer has been in extended hibernation, it is likely that Windows has automatically turned off the USB Root hub to save power.
