(5 stars) Fantastic fan

This is a fantastic small fan with outstanding airflow for its size. Compared to other high airflow 60mm fans this is extremely quiet apart from the whining of the blades at full speed. I'm using this with a 12VDC usb to fan 3 pin adapter to power this from a laptop as well as several power banks to keep a USB hard drive cool. I can confirm this also works with a single channel variable voltage 3 pin fan controller to regulate the speed. The fan works at 5V with no start-up issues so case modders should be happy. When dropping the voltage below 11V, the noise drops off extremely quickly whilst still providing sufficient airflow to keep my drive cool. The fan is extremely light weight and solidly constructed so it will withstand some abuse if using this outside a pc case. The 3 wires are firmly connected to the fan motor and 3 pin connector which is excellent compared to some high airflow fans I've used in the past where the wires become detached from the fan motor over time. I should also mention that at full speed, the fan bearly vibrates which is excellent so its deffinatly a solid unit. Also, the 3 pin connector is of a good quality so it should be easy to insert and remove for temporary installs. Deffinatly a 5 star product. Finally, I've been using this fan for 3 weeks now with no issues.
