Product ID: USB3S2SATA3
The USB3S2SATA3 USB 3.0 to SATA Adapter/Converter connects a bare 2.5in or 3.5in SATA (6Gbps) Hard Drive (HDD) or Solid State Drive (SSD) to a computer through SuperSpeed USB 3.0.
The adapter is backward compatible with USB 2.0 hosts, as well as SATA I/II drives, and eliminates the need to connect a drive enclosure or HDD dock, making it the perfect tool for quickly connecting a bare SATA drive, in order to backup or retrieve data to/from the drive.
The USB 3.0/SATA III adapter features a convenient built-in Backup feature that when combined with the easy-to-use software (included), will launch the backup utility at the touch of a button.
The USB 3.0/SATA adapter works with Windows®, Linux, and Mac® computers and does not require any driver installation - a true plug-and-play solution, backed by a StarTech.com 2-year warranty and free lifetime technical support.
