I am experiencing issues with my monitors not returning after I have unplugged my Thunderbolt cable and plugged it back into my TB2DOCK4K2DP in Mac OS. What do I do?

An issue has been identified with the TB2DOCK4K2DP when it is used with computers equipped with a Thunderbolt™ 2 port and running Mac OSX 10.10 or 10.11. In some cases when you use dual DisplayPort outputs, a monitor or multiple monitors may not turn on after you disconnect and reconnect the Thunderbolt cable.

This issue was improved in Mac OSX 10.11.5. To temporarily resolve this issue, download and run Mac OSX 10.11.5.

After you download Mac OSX 10.11.5, to regain the use of your monitors, complete the following: 

  1. Plug the Thunderbolt cable into the TB2DOCK4K2DP.
  2. Restart your computer. is working towards a permanent solution.
