(5 stars) RJ45 Splitter

By: Starr
Great way to connect 2 devices to a single RJ45 port. Plug it into the port and then connect your devices. It is really that simple.

I bought one and only one port worked. I then exchanged the defective splitter for a new one. The new one still one had one working port. I would not recommend getting this product from this brand.

Brian, Customer Support
Thanks for sharing this feedback. We want to apologize for the confusion regarding how this product works and we hope we can clear that up. This product has a very specific usage. In order to use it as designed, you will need two of these splitters. At one end of the installation, the splitter is designed to connect two patch cables from a network hub or switch to a single, network port in a building. The other splitter connects to the opposite end of that network cable run in the building. It allows you to connect two network devices at 10/100 Mb devices. The most common mistake our customers will make is they use a single splitter and connect one end of it to their network switch and then simply connect 2 ethernet cables to their devices. Unfortunately, that will not work. I have also emailed you this explanation. Please feel free to respond, if you have any questions.
