Does NOT Work

By: Smoker1 - 08/07/2015
Purchased this to see about using my PCTV ExpressCard on my PC. Tried using with and without a USB Cable since I can not find anything to use with the 4 Pin Connector. Did not even Register in the Device MNGR. Not even when I placed the TV Card in the Card Slot.

Hello, We really appreciate the time you have taken to provide feedback on our PEX2ECDP, and we would like to help remedy your issue. Regarding the USB cable, the PEX2ECDP does require it to be connected in order to function properly. If you have not done so already, please try installing the PEX2ECDP in a different PCI Express slot, or in a different computer running a compatible operating system. The operating systems that are compatible with this card are Windows 2000, XP, Server 2003, Vista and Windows 7. If the card works in a different slot, then the original slot may be faulty or the card may not have been seated fully. If the card works in a different computer but not the original computer, there may be an incompatibility between the computer and the card. If the card installation is still giving you some trouble, we're always here to help with our lifetime technical support. Please feel free to get in touch with us at any time and be sure to reference case number 303-263960. You can also reply here and we will be sure to follow up with you. This card worked with an Imperx Framelink Express Frame Grabber and was able to stream video as expected from two cameras simultaneously.
